1st gen JDM tails with amber
Pretty much. I think the US is the only country which allows red rear turn signals. Europe, asia and australia require amber. Plus their wheel is on the other side as well...so i wouldn't be surprised if they were all JDM.
So i can see why in other parts of the world, USDM parts would be sought after. The US is the only country where the AWD system in the "skyline" comes with the 3.5L. JDM cars can only get the 2.5L I beleive....so we are a little spoiled with all our unique parts I guess.

Haha, true. Sidemarkers are much cheaper and easier to switch out though. Oh well, he didn't end up buying them anyway.
Half the crap we do is illegal too...doesn't stop that.
How legal do you think all these tinted taillights and white LED marker lights are?? Not legal at all

And fyi the G35/V35 was never sold new here in Australia, so all the V35s here are Japanese imports.

Oh yeah, and the Japanese V35 come in 2.5L, 3L and 3.5L - all NON-awd. Believe it not none of them come awd 
On the plus side my 350GT is a GT-8, which is an 8 speed continuously variable transmission with steering column paddle shift ... LOVE IT!

^ Lucky you, there're always some options on JDM specifically unavailable on USDM, such as your GT-8 tranny.
I believe where ever this car being sold under Nissan is in JDM spec w/ driver on the RH side, and being sold under Infiniti is in USDM w/ driver on the LH side.

Yep, your USDM tail lights are illegal here in Australia. Funny thing is though - I have been thiking about buying some anyway - as I don't like the JDM ones.

Do you know if he has 03, or 04/05 lights? I am looking for 04/05 lights with raised circles in them, rather than horizontal LEDs.
