Check the Marketplace every once in a while. The 05-06 tails may show up there, and sometimes can be had cheaper than Ebay (although I got mine from Ebay separately for around $200 a couple years ago).

You should consider ordering the Nissan JDM 05/06 tallights. The JDM verisons have amber turn signals vs the US spec red turn signal. When they're off, the signal area is a lighter red. I've got them and they're nice because they're a little different. They're about $330 from Riverside Infiniti.

 

I've been debating the JDM tails on my '06....nice to see i can recoop some of my money, if not all of it

 

try to check craigslist sometimes too, you might find somebody parting a g35 out and selling the tails.

 

Be very careful when getting tail lamps from places like ebay. They should say Koito Japan Nissan on them. Koito is the supplier of the tail lamps for nissan, both JDM and USDM.

+1 on the JDM Tails. I have the 03-04 version. While I like the 05-06 JDM Tails, I chose these because my car is an 04.

 

does anyone know if the 05 g35 sedan taillights well fit a 2003 g35 sedan w/out having to do any modification?

Dealer told me they would not fit. So all the bolts match right up is that what you mean by direct swap, sorry for the dumb ?.

 

I just told you I put them on my 2003.0 sedan. Yep, they bolt right up, absolutely NO modification needed aside from replacing your rear quater panels and windshield.

300 shipped? does that inclued the inner reverse lamp the ones on the trunk or just the tail lamps?

 

Anyone have the 05 style jdm ones? How about with the lights on? Not sure if i like the amber.
