What brakes are the best, but cheapest upgrade for my 03 sedan? Looked at the brembos and all the bbks but they are kind of expensive... where do you think I get the biggest bang for my buck?

Cheapest option would be to get a set of 05+ OEM brakes. The rotors are larger than yours, the calipers are larger with the fronts having 2 pistons, and the pad don't create mountains of dust like yours do. They're a direct bolt on upgrade, although you do have to cut back part of the dust shield to make the rotor fit.

Another option is this one: http://www.racingbrake.com/One_piece_Rotors_s/3359.htm. You can get this for front and rear, and down the road upgrade the calipers. It's not cheap, but it's cheaper than a full blown BBK setup, and you can upgrade in stages with it.

If you're not looking for heavy track use, the 05+ OEMs will be your best upgrade for the price.

If you have serious road race / autocross aspirations, save up for the BBKs or other, expensive ones. If you're just looking for something safer, and less dusty for on-road, save your money and just go OEM.

Gotta get me an 05+ Brakes set! My brakes suck when heated up! and the dust is killing me!

Don't expect significant WOAH factor when stepping up to the 05+ Brakes. IIRC, performance testing was about the same with the 03-04 and 05+ brakes.

Difference would be with fade and consistancy since the 05+ rotors are bigger and the dual piston caliper spread the clamp force out.

Another huge difference is the amount of dust generated. Much less with an 05+ setup.

No mods is cheap and the "best" upgrade.. those two words don't really go together..

Here's an update... I got '06 Calipers all around with 24k miles on them on the way. Now I need some rotors.

I'm not sure how much better the bigger setup would be in tracking but yeah, in theory, the physics say it should offer better fade resistance.

But the important part is the fact that you still get the world class 60-0 w/o the massive dust and rotor wear when going to the 05+ non awd brake setup.

Hey I have rotors and pads all the way around! I've been trying to sell them, but people always want them with the calipers!
If your looking for a less pricey option for rotors and Hawk HPS pads, shoot me a PM, I'll give them to you for a good price!

I've got a set of front rotors off my '06 with 40K, but they need to be cut. I get some pulsating in heavy braking with them....why i replaced.

UMMM don't think I want to get some rotors that made your brakes shake. So who else has some rotors and pads?
