Seat Memory Getting Alzheimers?

Seat Memory Getting Alzheimers?
Lately, my seat hasn't been returning to the 1 position when I use the keyfob to unlock, about 2/3rds of the time.
Switch is in the auto position, and after I start the car, if I hold the 1 button, it'll move.
Sometimes if I push the unlock after the car is running, it'll return to position too

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
^^ Shouldn't be necessary. I have 5 AT and when I'm in the car with the door closed, as soon as I turn the ignition on or just push it in, the steering wheel drops and the seat moves into the correct position. I have the I key so of course the key doesn't have to be in the ignition.
OP have you tried to reprogram your settings??

Did you try reading your manual and if you haven't, then try reading it because you may be able to troubleshoot with your manual. I went to check mine and it said that the memory seat only works when the handbrake is up, and the ignition is on. It doesn't mention anything about having my car running but I have personally noticed that the memory seat still works even when my car is running right until I put down my handbrake and then after wards it doesn't anymore even if I put the handbrake back up. I need to turn my car off and redo the step again (Handbrake up and turn on the ignition). That's what I always do and my seat position is always there and so far I never had problems with it, even when I change the position of the seat drastically. Just try that, but if your seat position still gets erased, then it's probably safe to say that something may not be working up to 100% in your car. But it doesn't really sound like a big problem, it would just be annoying in my opinion. And my manual also stated that if the problem reoccurs then it could also be due to a couple of reasons, can't really remember right now but look at your manual because the answer is in there.

Normally, if I move the seat (better reading position to kill time while killing "arrive early" time) it moves into my memorized location when unlocked with the keyfob. I always park w/parking brake, but sometimes I unlock, walk up and get in the car, and can barely push the clutch all the way down.
The bit that confuses me is that it only does this intermittently.

How much of an interval are you talking about when that happens. Because from what you are saying it sounds very similar to my old BMW driver 1 setting and driver 2 setting. One key set unlocks the car and puts the seat into one memorized position, and the other set puts it into another memorized position. Now I am not quite sure if my Infinity or any other for that matter has that feature (I gotta go read my manual to make sure), but if they do can someone else confirm this just to make it easier.

Interval? It's about 90min from when I leave the car, and the second keyfob hasn't been used for quite some time.
It will (fail to) happen about every other day, and I'm not re-programming the memory between, the keyfob unlocks the doors just fine, so I can't blame the transmitter either.

You should try using your second set to see if it still happens, then you can see if it is the remote or not that is causing that to happen and if it still persists then it's something else. And another thing has your car always done this since you got it or is it recent that this has been happening.
