well guys i drifted away from the pack for a while... i had a coupe and was in love with it.... the dad said it was too small and i needed something bigger... so i got a tahoe.. dropped it did all that.... and want it gone... so its time to come back to the G.... this time on the sedan side... so my question is.. who has pics of their black sedans.... looking for pics with rims and suspension if you have them... THANKS!!

Sorry, I don't have fancy 18" or 19" wheels and tires (just Infiniti 17" Sport wheels) and I don't have a modded suspension, but I like my black G35 Sedan just as well and the Z tube/K&N filter combo is a very addictive sound. ;-) I just added a couple new, longer ss exhaust tips as I didn't want to go with an entire cat-back exhaust system or HKS muffler. I'm sure many others here have some good pics of their 'more modded' black G35 Sedans. I love mine as is though! ;-)

A better picture of my G35 Sedan, after I applied the klasse AIO/ Pinancle Liq. Souveran carnuba wax combo; personally, I like the Infiniti Sport wheels, but I do agree they would look better as 18" or 19" wheels...I like our 20" (actually they're 21.5" ;-) Infiniti FX35 wheels, but I still like the 5 star design better...

Yes, I need the Navi system as this is my new company car...you like? It replaces my 2000 Ford Taurus - the G35 is a slight upgrade...ha ha! ;-) I do a lot of business travel across FL (and I fly to other states here in the southeast) and the Navi system comes in very handy!!!

Re: the waxes...yes, I know Zaino is the best from what I've heard, but it's definitely a long and never-ending process, so I wanted to go with something that would remove the hard-water spots and most of the swirl marks, but would also last a while and not take too much time to do.

First, I tried Meguiar's NXT synthetic wax...not good on black; good for our '03 Copper FX35 but not for my black G35 (and didn't do anything for the swirls and water spots). Then, I tried the Pinnacle Liq. Souveran carnuba wax (alone) and it was good, but again, it did nothing for the water spots and swirl marks.

Finally, someone on G35Driver.com told me about the Klasse AIO synthetic wax (which removes all the old waxes and goes on as a base coat) and Pinnacle Souveran carnuba wax (as a top coat) combo...WOW!!! The Klasse AIO synthetic wax went on/off easy and removed all the hard water spots and most of the swirl marks (and it's supposed to last about 6 mo.). Then, I waited 12 hours and applied the Pinnacle Liq. Souveran carnuba on top, which deepened the black shine and accentuated the mirror finish. If you don't go the Zaino or CG route, then I would highly recommend doing the Klasse AIO synthetic wax/Pinancle Souveran carnuba wax combo. Each one is $24.95/bottle and it's been about 1 month and still looks almost as good as day one (I say almost b/c I've noticed some swirls are back from weekly washes ;-)

Oh, also I would highly recommend the Big Blue II super absorbant towels (if you don't already use them)...they're awesome -- one Big Blue II towel dries the entire car in 4 minutes without wringing it out and without any water streaks or spots!!

Dude, don't apologize...your car looks sick as is!!! I love seeing it every time you post! I have a Black Z71 I converted to a Denali (See Pic) b/c I always wanted Black...nothing's meaner looking...so I had to go with something different on the G. :-)

Ok, wow, I will be trying that wax and the process you recommend. You're car looks fantastic. I just had mine waxed and am not happy with the outcome. Actually, I spent two bills to have the car totally detailed, before I went to Stillen. I thought the pro wax would make the car have that beautiful deep black appearance, it looked better, but not anywhere near my expectations, and believe me they are high. Do you get the was from the net? Or, can you purchase it anywhere (please don't tell me Walmart, I don't go there, I hate that place).
