Slight Knocking Noise at Throttle
Slight Knocking Noise at Throttle
My 2005 G35x seems to runs beautifully. Except when I have the windows down and am next to a parked car or something that noise can bounce off from.
If I suddenly press the throttle hard not necessarily WOT but a good press Ill hear a knocking or clickity noise from what seems like the engine or front axle.
This noise only sounds for a second or 2
any ideas? could it be the regular Gas I put in it?
Thanks

You need to verfiy and make sure exactly where it is coming from. If it is a clicking or knocking noise from motor, sometimes it could be due to low oil... I say that because I had a motor that was consuming a lot of oil and at one point it was really low so once I put in more oil, it stopped the clicking sound.... if from suspension, number of things. VERIFY THE LOCATION.
