Can people who have either catback exhaust for their sedans please show a pic of it on your G? Are your tips chrome or polished fromt he factory? My exhaust tips look like they were used already lol, they arent a shiney polish or chrome they are like dull!! Anyone else?

I have the Borla and they are kinda dull too. I should of polished them before the install but I was hasty.

Yea now im looking at it and its pissing me off, its 2 days old on my car and looks worn and dirty and i tried cleaning them off, they wont come clean. What should i use, mother's polish or something?

Martin, what's up with the triple post?? Hee hee.

I have the Stillen CAB, Tips are polished, they look good still; however, they are beginning to get a bit of the yellow look to them from the heat. Isn't it pretty hard to avoid them yellowing? I would think the Mothers would work fine. I use that on my chrome rims on my GTS and it works great!

OMG lol, tripple post wow. Never happened to me before, thats weird. Anyway yea, they are becoming yellow, mother's what? Chrome polish? I dont exactly know what the Borla is, it isnt chrome but its shiney.

I use the chrome/wheel polish. I think it's good for polished finishes, but of course, I'm out of it, so don't have jar to read from.

Damm, is it just me getting use to the exhaust, or is it sounding very quiet now after a few days?? Also when i look at it from the back the Borla isnt very attractive looking, its not shiney and very dull looking, i think the stillen looks way better!! I mean i love the power gains and sound but overall its a great exhaust but now its getting pretty quiet to me (probably just my head) and the exhaust looks kinda crooked lol... Dam

LOL, more like after 4 or 5 days of ownership... No dont take this post the wrong way, i just feel Borla could have made this with better craftsmanship!! I mean looking at it now fromt he back it looks like an old no name aftermarket exhaust!?!!? Yes i love this exhaust, i just dont understand why it would look this way.

Found it at the hardware store. After two weeks my HKS muffler is getting yellow too with some road tar. I'll clean it with Tarminator then this stuff. I'll let you know how it works out.

Just finished my Sat. ritual of cleaning baby. The Stoners Tarminator got rid of the globs of road tar on the HKS stainless steel. Then the Mothers polish got rid of the yellow tarnish. Very nice and easy!

For the Mothers polish just follow the directions. Put a little on a terry and wipe it around the tips unlittle you see a black residue on the towel then wipe off with a clean towel. It takes just a couple minutes. I used a small terry cloth towel. One end for application and the other end for wiping.

For the tarminator, I just sprayed some on a diaper and wipe. The tar comes right off. It actually also take some of the tarnish off too.
