Car back from 80,000 kms service and clicking sound from passenger rear

Just got my car back from service on Sunday and besides the belts being changes, the dealer changed the rear brakes and rotors and refinished/repolished the front rotors. All this was done under service contract and warranty (which lasts for another 45 days).

I noticed the past few days a clicking sound from right rear wheel. I had my wheels rotated (front to back) yesterday and the issue persists at the right rear so its def not the wheel.

The clicking sound does not happen when I press the brakes or depress it. It only happens when accelerating between 0 kmph to 80kmph, depressing the car when slowing down from anywhere between 25kmph to 80kmph, or hard acceleration from 0 to 80kmph - rpms are 2500 to 3500 at most.

I do not drive my car hard at all nor do I take sharp turns at high speed nor do I fly over bumps etc.

I've searched and most people say either the axle has to be raised, axle changed or simply greased. I will be taking the car on Sun to the dealer for a road test with the Nissan engineer and have them remedy the problem.

My suspension is stock with only aftermarket wheels, H&R 5 mm spacer and extended bolts. I DID NOT have this problem before the 80,000 kms service.

Anything else I should keep in mind and mention to the engineer? It's all covered under warranty but more info or tips I have is better rather than sitting there and nodding my head

Thanks!

Here' something interesting. I had come home for about an hour and typed the above. Went back to the car to go out and rolled down the windows, put the car in R and one click sound, put the car in D and another click. Then as I was driving I experienced the clicking as in my 1st post.

Came home put the car in P, then R and D and same clicking.

I feel the clicking is still from the rear right passenger but now it may seem its coming from under the back right passenger seat area... Maybe its exhaust related?

How much does it cost to get the axle lubricated if not under warranty?
I need to get it done as it is driving me crazy after I found it.

I own 2008 G35x S. It is a nice car no doubt. But lately I have a problem, and it does not happen often. If there was a passenger sits on the seat (Front Passenger side) when you apply brake slowly to stop the vehicle, sometimes you would hear a click sound when the vehicle stop. When you about to move again from a complete stop, the clicking sound comes back. I brought back to the dealer. I test drove the car with the technician sitting next to me, and I was able to reproduce the problem. When they test drove the car, they were unable to reproduced the problem. They check the seat to see if there was any screws and bolts are loose. Nothing was found. It is still happening once in a awhile. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I got my G service periodic such oil change, tire rotation. I do not know whether it is the sit that is giving me the problem or something else. But it only happen when there is a passenger sit on the front passenger side. I've brought the vehicle to the dealer, and they had it for 3 days. They were having a tough time to figure out where the noise is coming from? I have send some forum posts regarding the clicking sound, but they said it is not what I think it is.

When I test drove with the Senior Technician from the dealer, he was so sure that it is the suspension. For 3 days, he can not reproduce the problem. What he told me that he ended up checking the front and rear suspension unit with the fixture. I send an email to the Service manager and asked whether they lubricate anything or just visual check. I am still waiting for the answer.

If anyone know about this issue and have a solution, please advice me. I am planning to bring my car to different dealer. It is a waste of my times to go back and forth.

Thanks everyone

I have had the same issue and there are possibilities.

1. Simply torque the wheels to the right settings (too many people just tighten it with the airgun tool and thats it)
2. I had a bent parking shoe
