To the world of g35 sedan drivers...
so why a g35 sedan? why not a coupe. I know my reason was I feel like coupes were for wannabe racers that think once they have a hold on a coupe they can race and do stupid crap. I' m not paying more or the same price to lose space in the back of my car and lose 2 doors. What's your reason?

My top 5 reasons:
1.) Coupes are everywhere.
2.) Coupes cost more to insure.
3.) Coupes aren't as stealthy
4.) Coupes can't be used to pick up customers easily
5.) I like understated cars and coupes are a bit shouty. Not to mention that most coupes I see around here are driven by d-bags covered in tan-in-a-bottle.

1. Wife said "NO" to the 350Z I brought home after saying yes for 2 weeks (thanks babe)
2. Switched to the G35 coupe, but when I found the only 6mt for sale on a dealer lot in the 5 western states in early 2003, I could not fit in the car equipped with a sun roof. And I could not wait 3 months to order a coupe without one.
3. Found a no option (wanted it that way) 6mt sedan that I bought cash for $500 over invoice that was delivered 300 miles to my door for only a $50 fee. Deal was great, just not the car I really wanted.
A year latter my wife confessed it was wrong of her to have prevented me from buying the Z in the first place. To this day, I'd much rather have the Z.

lmao d-bags covered in tan-in-a-bottle. What i found funny was, well im from MA, and here the only people driving coupes are asian. I am asian, some kid thought he was cool to come straight off the boat of china to come here and buy a coupe and drove past my sedan and pointed and laugh...ignorant?

#1 - If I bought the coupe, I probably would have to swap it out when I have kids. When that swap would happen, I probably wouldn't be in the financial situation to get a decent sedan, and be stuck with something far inferior. It's a preemptive strike, and everything I do to hook my sedan up will still be there when there's children around.
#2 - Sleeper to the ignorant. I don't get revved on by any boys in civics who think their I/H/E make them car gods. It also doesn't get noticed by the police as much either.
#3 - The 6MT sedan felt better than the 6MT coupe to me. Probably the seating position, but it just felt more comfortable to me.
#4 - All the practical reasons. Cost, insurance, back seat...
#5 - They're like potato chips, and I couldn't own just one

My reason is very long, but ill explain it anyways.
We got an 04 G35x sedan waaaay back in 2004. It was DG/W and i loved it.
I joined this forum a few years after having it and started seeing sedans all tricked out. This made me want to mod the sedan soooo much more. Once i started driving it fora period of time i wanted to hook it up BAD but my dad was like "no, its a lease" so i was pissed and bought a popcharger anyways hahaha. Ripped around with that for awhile. it was fun.
When i was 17 my dad was going to buy the 04 sedan when the lease was up and let me have it, well, it was like 22k and he didnt want to spend that much when the cars were realistically going for 17-18k at the time.
So i had a budget of 20k. After chilling in the sedan forum for damn near 2 years, i wanted one bad, and to make it look sweet like so many on this forum
So, we picked up this sedan, and i made it look sweet etc. Then realized a few months down the line that everyone has a sedan and nobody has coupes in my area and wished i had one, but oh well. I gave up haha.
Sweet sedans still rule in my book though. i love 'em.

- coupe isnt that comfertable
