If pretty much all else were equal, condition of car, mileage difference in just the extra year on the 04, if I could afford the extra $2000 for the 05 I would do that.

All else equal. I wouldn't take a color I don't like in the 05 vs a nice color in the 04.

In my opinion, I would have gone with the 04 and invested the extra 2000 i would have spent to get the 05 on some parts. 2000 can go a long way in the modification world. just my .02

get 05 because it makes more horse, the brakes are better, the rear end is bigger too which makes it have more whp and you should be able to get it for 13k though. Good luck!

or even better dude just if you want the 04 tell him you were wanting the 05 but you will take the 04 if you can get it for 11k... that'd be worth it imo

I personally liked the small upgrades so chose an 05 when I was in the market for my sedan. Since you're in Houston, check out our regional section (Strictly G's)We have a meet soon so feel free to come out and meet some of the locals.

my dealer had an 04 and an 06, both 6MT, 04 was 13995, 67k, the 06 was 19995 with 27k. 04 had a black interior, tints and more features(bose, dual zone climate control etc). i figured for the 6k i saved i could get brembos and a bunch of other stuff, althouth i extended the warranty which cut into the difference a bit..then again the 06 bumper to bumper warranty will be up in 7 months, and I will have 2 years. Also the rev up oil consumption issue concerned me a bit
