Re: Z Suspension on sedan question

Ohh.... and by way of comparision, GSedan35 and blackonblackg have the same wheels, blackonblackg has the same tire size as me, but his wheels sit 10mm further in due to a +45 offset vs. my +35 offset. I am not sure about Gsedan35's offsets and tire sizes.

Man, the Enkei RPM2's seem pretty popular:-)

Re: Z Suspension on sedan question

I just installed the '03 suspension on my sedan and it dropped 1" all around +/- 1/16". The used '03 suspension already had about 9K miles on it so I'm sure the springs are nice and settled already. As for first impressions with limited driving, Gsedan35's review from way back was right on the money. Instantly feels better performance wise, the shocks controls the springs better, better turn in feel, etc. etc. For $150 and installing it myself, this has got to be the best bang for your buck mod so far that I have done. Some of that luxo, cushy ride is gone now, but nothing major and certainly nothing that bothers me.

Re: Z Suspension on sedan question

just don't pay over 200 plus shipping.

please note teh 04 z suspension is softer (maybe not noticeable) but is softer. this is difference in shocks not springs so if you order and install an 03 supsension and it is too rough you may get away a bit softer by shifting to some 04 shocks.

i love mine, best mod for the money IMO

Re: Z Suspension on sedan question

I agree. For $180 shipped and self install the '03 Z suspension was the best mod for the money. yes the bounce is definitely there but if your not too sensitive you can live with it. Heck, I only plan to keep this suspension for a year or two and then switch to the D-Specs after they have been out for a while and have been nice and reviewed. Also if anyone out there gets a Z suspension on their sedan, do not go to a place like Big-O for a alignment. Find yourself a good shop that will do custom alignments and know what they are doing. Preferably one that has experience in racing and such. A good alginment and a bad one makes a night and day difference.
