cycling/trailer hitch

I'm an avid cycler, but mostly mtb these days. I've had all sorts of racks, and I prefer the hitch mount. For one, no dirty bikes on top of the car. Also, no wheels to take off - just sit it on the cradles. And easier to put back there, then up and over on top of the car. Plus, you can pull into the garage and not have to take anything off the car - and no worries at drive-through businesses.
To each their own, but there are advantages and disadvantages to both scenarios that peeps may want to consider. Of course, I take my Pathfinder with a hitch rack when I bike instead of the G. And for the record, there's a $5K titanium mtb on the back if it when driving around. Doesn't bother me, much. There's times when friends and I go bike, and there may be $15-20K worth of mountain bikes on the back of the vehicle. So be it.
