I just sent off the boot I made for a local member and the suede boot just looks so sick, too bad I don't have more suede parts inside my car but this makes me want to start modifying it more..... hopefully the member will post up pix when he gets it installed, he's got one of the nicest sedans on here

Ok sounds good I thought you had a tan interior so just making sure the boot will match your interior. Only 1 hour left til I go home from work and meet up with the local AUTO g35 guy

 

Heh, exactly my thoughts. I'm going with suede even though I don't have any suede in my interior. But I am going to add some. Your shift boot is just going to be first!

 

locksmith are you able to get tan leather for the boot? i just thought maybe it would look better on my interior instead of black cuz i have the tan interior with gray dash

 

Yes I can get any color leather that is needed its just a matter of matching the color to the seats which can take some time and also buying the leather. Do you have the willow interior? I actually have the color of the boot for the willow guys but its not the color of the seats its the color of the top of your inside door panel thats what color the 6spd willow's are.

How it works is you have to take off the shift boot and shift console to get underneath the circular shift plate, there are 3 screws holding it in and you just unscrew the screws and it comes right off. Cover the shift plate with the boot, the boot has a stretchy fabric that will pull and stretch to hold the boot onto the shift plate, screw the boot/shiftplate back onto the console and put it back together and you're set! I tested this on the local auto g35 and it fits great! I didn't have time for installed pix because he was in a rush but everything should be set for production!

I can't take a pix unfortunately lol but I'd be willing to sell you one and you can install it on your car and take pix for me!

I was goin to take some pix but the guy that came over had to leave quickly so i didn't have much time to even make the boot and his interior is also willow so the black boot didn't match at all. Let me know what you guys want for your final boot if you're still interested and I can get them all started tomorrow!
