What color to paint grill?

I have a silver 03 g35 sedan. Want to paint my grill, what color would work best with my paint job? I was thinking maybe a darker silver?

in my opinion, silver g35 cant pull much looks, trust me, i have brilliant silver 05 g35x. If it was me, i would paint the grill black, along with the black emblem on the back and get black rims to match a little. If not, i think it looks weird, but try and see how that looks first.

No seriously, black/silver would be an ultimate theme or just leave it stock.

Black, Dark charcoal, or dark Silver.

Personally, i like the stock chrome with silver.

And I love Silver G35's. I'd take one over my black G35 anyday

satin black, then do the same for your eblems, except for the one in the front try color matching that eblem to your car's color or just leave it chrome to match the chrome trim around the windows. Overlays for your tailights, black rims with a polished lip, tints. You should have a good balance now and then your roof black if you want to go all out. Well thats what i would do.

On a silver car though?? Blacked out only really looks good on black cars.

On a silver car, i like the chrome look. In fact, if i had a silver G35, i would have left the emblems on. I love the look of a clean silver car with nice bright chrome (factory...not added on out of the Autozone aisle) shining in the sunlight....esp if it's a metallic flake.

That's why my vote is to leave the chrome grill alone

A picture could tell you better than any series of words in any reply.

Browse the silver car color thread, see how they've worked it and if you like what you see, use it on your car.

I don't think blacking out the door trim and handles would look good on a silver car. I would only do that to a black car

I ended up painting the grill flat black, kept the chrome emblem. Turned out good, looks really sharp
