Anybody have battery drain problems on 2005 G35 Sedan?

Anybody out there had any electrical systems problems?

I have a dead battery, uncertain if this is due to a battery drain/electrical problem. I have seen a few posts on 2003 G35's that have this problem. The problem seems to be related to the radio/BOSE amp. Anyone aware of this in the 2005 G35?

Hook a digital mutlimeter up that can read DC amps in series with the battery and see how many Amps of draw you have with the car off

I was concerned because my car suddenly began having problems, I checked the battery and it had a bad cell. I just bought the car used from the infinity dealer 3 weeks ago. I dropped it off today and the Dealer replaced battery for free. My concern was due to some of the strange things that began to happen when the car would not start (chirping from the security system/keyfob). I did a quick internet search found some common problems with the 2003 G35 and the BOSE amp as a possible cause for battery drain. Just wanted to see if anyone had problems with a 2005. Hopefully was simply an old battery. I guess I will find out over the next few weeks. Thanks for the advice.

yeah your battery just probably took a dive. Give it a month and see what happens.

Indeed!

If the draw is unusually high, you have an electrical problem. Start pulling fuses until you trace it down (start with the radio and hvac system)

If the draw is only very very slight (clock and various computers do take a tiny amount) then the problem is your battery.
