is it possible to swap a normal rear view mirror on an 06 g35x with a 04 g35x home link and auto dimming mirror?

no reason it wouldn't be possible.. you can buy a brand new homelink mirror here

 

i dont need to purchase one ive got some one who thinks its annoying and bulky and would just want to trade, so i wanted to see if i did do it that it was possible to instal and if thier would be any dyi or somting

 

i think the wiring should be fairly simple, for your install youll need the mirror and a connector to make a wire harness. i think its either 3 or 4 wires if i remember right, should be a ground, acc and pwr wire, not 100% on that though

 

they sell the harness on ebay

the g35 uses the gentex 313 so if you want close to OEM thats one to shoot for

also, try a junk yard

 

is it prewired....who thinks they can make/find a dyi...or at least instructions or a simple way of doing this (if possible)
