I believe there was a company that custom made brackets for any car.

I called them before to request brackets. They have a huge list of cars to make brackets for. What you need to provide are the measurements of the holes in your seat so they can make the bracket fit both the seat and the car.

A few people who have ordered from them were satisfied with it.

Found em. Wedge Engineering

Example set

Sparco makes a 400 series bracket for the 350z and a 500 series bracket for the G35. they look slightly different but fit the same, don't ask me why. if anyone in SoCal needs brackets & sliders for cheap, Sparco accidentally sent me an extra set of G35 brackets and sliders(I used the 350z set they sent me first). willing to sell the full setup for $280. brackets retail for $110 each and sliders are $70 each. oh, yeah plus mounting hardware which is $7 each. you'll get 2 of everything(driver & passenger).

110(2) + 70(2) + 7(2) = $374 retail (Sparco no longer does discounts, their MSRP is the MAP. best you can do is get free shipping)

You can run cheap brackets but something like a seat mount isn't something I want to cheap out on with poor quality metal.

IMO

oh snap, reading > me right now.

i saw $300 and then i saw word each down the sentence. Retail is for a pair is almost $400.

I thought since we own G35's there arent too many racing but since we share similiar chassis with the 350z it would be a lot cheaper.

Back when i looked into brackets for my maxima, it was almost custom this custom that, or cut off OEM brackets and weld. compared to say a civic, sti, evo bracket which are VERY common.

So OEM 350z cloth seats should bolt up and fit without mods? I want something with a little better bolsters, thats about it. I haven't drove a 350z to see how those bolsters do.

no, OEM 350z seats won't fit. from what i've seen, people have tried and failed. if you want a cheap option just buy used coupe seats.
