Installed PA11-NIS iPod adapter, now climate control is confused?
So I finally installed my USA Spec PA11-NIS adapter into my '06 sedan yesterday (stock Bose 6-disc in-dash stereo, no sat), and everything is working, but now my automatic climate control is screwed.
When I select "auto" on the climate control, no matter what temp I set to the fan always goes right up to max and stays there with the heat on full.
It's as if the connection from the temp sensor to the head unit is gone, so the system doesn't know what the temp is.
I connected the PA11-NIS as-instructed, with the 12-pin connector passing through the PA11-NIS (#1 in the diagram below). Then I removed the connector that plugged into the 10-pin sat/changer port (#4 below) and plugged in the second connector from the PA11-NIS.
Does anyone have any ideas how I lost automatic climate control before I rip this all out and waste another day digging around in my dash?
Here's the PA11-NIS for reference...

Huge thanks to G4meDTP for this little tid-bit I found after much searching and head-banging-against-the-wall!!!
Reconnected the sensor, and now all is well!
