Another sedan offset/wheels question

Found some local wheels

Fronts - 18x8.5
Rears - 18x9.5
35mm offset

They have racing slicks on them (hoosier R6) which I might use once or twice next spring at the track.

What's that offset going to look like? They could be a little bit higher right? But will 35mm and those widths work ok? Or will they need spacers to look acceptable.

Can't tell you what kind they are

Thanks.

+1 depends on your ride height, camber settings, tire sizes as to what size spacers you'll need, if any.

These are what's on it, I might run the same or similar
245/40/18 front and 285/30/18.

I'm on H-techs right now, might be going to S-techs or Z H-techs. Hope to no be buying a camber kit. I might just chop a coil off the front of my H-techs ...

They'll look ok but spacers will help. And IMO 18's look way too small on the G.

Well Tim not everyone has 650hp where they can still run 20s and rape everything on the road lol

I like 18s because they offer the best performance and they keep the car low to the ground without slamming the **** out of it.

Either 18s or 19s for me!

You can have the same height from the ground with 19's and smaller tires. This also gives better performance. I think the right 19's work very well. 20's look the best IMO but many 19's work too.

I like running fatter tires to I like a 40ish tire.

I just don't want to deal with the hassle of shipping wheels into Canada.

True, shipping in/out of there is a PITA.

I have 40's on my oem 19's that I use for spares. They are right about the same height as the oem 17's were. I would rather have 35 series for looks but I like it the other way around.

I hate the fact that I will pay $200+ on almost anything large shipped here. I think I might have a guy that does importing though so we will see.

I kind of like the idea of these wheels since they have racing tires on and that would be awesome to play around with

DO NOT CUT YOUR SPRINGS!!

Sorry to yell, but don't do that. Not a smart idea. If you go any lower you're going to need camber kits. Sucks I know, but you gotta pay to play!

+1 I knew someone that heated up their springs and not to long after there shocks blew. I'm sure this will have the same affects. Don't ever bother with z h techs it doesn't even drop that much, plus you need to run spring mount spacers for the back cause it over steers.

The shocks ate bound to blow soon anyways they aren't sports lol

The one guy cut his wives by way more than they've been fine for a while now....

Depends if I find the right setup before winters over. Don't really want to spend anymore mods on making the car look good.

Agree 1000%, hold out for 19s, and don't cut your springs.

The cuts would just be temporary until some coil fall into my lap.

I dunno though I love the way my 18s look on the car now. I just want them to look better from the back...
