Yes.

You can also use 350Z mid pipe, but you will need an extension. Do a search for that to find out how long the extension is.

Since you have an 05/06 sedan, there really is no point in getting the coupe middy, you wont get any power gains and if your really concerned with the deeper growl, get the HR y pipe.. my exhaust will be complete by the 25th and it goes as follows :370z HR Y Pipe, Berk Hi-Flow Cats, Stock 06 sedan Middy, HKS sport exhaust. I'm sure if i swap the middy for a coupe middy i wouldn't hear any difference..

No offense but ypou couldn't be more wrong. I did this comparison 2 weeks ago and the difference in sound is night and day. The coupe mid is a lot louder than the sedan mid.

And you couldnt be more misled. I never said stock for stock the middys are the same pitch and note, i said my exhaust set-up note wouldnt change noticeable if i had the coupe middy.

^Mine did when i added mine. Must just be something about LS sedans with coupe mids. Makes 'em louder.

no ****.... maybe im thinking of a 03-04 sedan with a coupe middy compared to a 05-06 sedan... idk.. but last time i had two cars paired up they sounded too similiar for me to even invest in a coupe middy, and from past threads before people were saying that the noise wasnt that noticeable

It isn't a drastic difference, but you notice it.

Ace,

I apologize if I came across as a d!ck, didn't mean it that way. I too have HR y pipe, HKS combo. I was running a coupe mid before the muffler and was curious to see what the difference was between the coupe mid and my stock mid when I got the HKS. I ran the CM for a week after installing the HKS. Then swapped in the stock MP for a comparison with a friend that's a member on here so I could get an unbiased opinion.

We were both amazed by the difference. Read this eval, especially posts 141, 145, 146: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...ml#post4585103

Janik, it was a drastic difference on my car!!

an 03 sedan with coupe midpipe is gonna sound louder than a stock 05 sedan or an 05 sedan with a coupe middie, cuz 03's mufflers are better than 05 mufflers
