Oh, I had it all wrong then. I put the sticker on my forehead in an attempt to get smarter, but all I got was a rash.

Okay, enough silliness, back on topic.

blkonblk -- well, it's smaller, anyway. Yes, it's a nice sound.

Midpipe is quite a bit larger than the one on the 05-06 sedans though.

lol i knoww, i think you misread what i said. i said that a stock 03 sedan with only an 05 middie is gonna sound a little better than a stock 05 sedan with its stock 05 middie being that the 03 mufflers give better sound

^^HUH! we are confusing each other way tooo much.... sedan midpipes (03-04) are 2.25... if im not mistaken.. and coupes are 2.5 (03+), just as 05-06 are also 2.5... just the 05-06 middy has a different resonator than the coupe which gives the coupe the deeper howl... the mufflers have nothing to do with this.

I also have a question regarding the coupe middies... are all of them the same 03-07? or do the 05-06 coupes have better middies? and by better i mean deeper howl sound.. basically does it matter if i get an 03 middy or if i get an 07 middy to put on my sedan..

honestly i've read a fair bit to ditch the idea of swapping out my stock mid pipe for anything since the cost is more than the gain.

I am running a HKS rear section, HR y pipe and since early Oct the Berk HFCs. I don't think I need anything else for sound now. Unless I can get an aftermarket mid-pipe that has gains or power

If I want more power, I'll go FI.

BTW HFC's are FTMFW. They provided me the most gain so far. Then come the MD spacer for 2nd place on my list!
