X2. My mid-pipe was 28 bux, delivered to my work. I'm gonna give a friend a six-pack so I can use his shop on thursday, rather than do in on j-stands in my cold *** garage. Well worth it, imho. Total cost will put me around 40 odd bux, depending on what he wants for beer

Good ol' case of beer deal. 6 pack is cheap to use a shop, does he have a lift?

You lucked out man, that's a steal.

yeah, he works for a local preowned stealership. luckily he's a good friend of mine and has been for a long time... however for something like the middy, i was quoted 50 bux to swap it from my mom's mech... so if those of you who are looking into it and don't have access to tools/friends with a shop and think it'll be expensive... it's not.

You're going to need to find a G coupe that has got an aftermarket exhaust and has no use for the stock exhaust. Look in the marketplace.

You live right near me so it's going to be a hard find! Good luck.

Tell me how the HFC installs go. Mine are on their way back from the East coast this weekend.

coupe middy FTW! install is a pain, if you see snow, get replacement bolts. i was able to save the ones for the muffler but not for the y-pipe. that had to be... replaced. and you can't drill those out, apparently, and they also don't like to be heated up. :P
when we torched the bolts, the WHOLE thing heated up, then the bolt ended up hardning up even more than it was before we started. even with a new carbide drill bit, couldnt get it out.... so other measures were taken... and i'm not going to divulge them

The HR y-pipe deffinately improves the sound. I was with my friend and he drove my car before and after the installation of the HR y-pipe. We both noticed a change in sound.

Post a vid when you do it. I wonder how it will sound with the addition of HFC's.

I like that combination. Curious to see how the HFC's affect the overall sound.

I'm worried they may increase the drone the coupe mid produces.
