try this:

1. Press the switch to the CLOSE/UP side to
tilt up the sunroof.
2. Press and hold the switch to the
CLOSE/UP side for approximately 3 seconds
while the sunroof is tilted up.
3. Release the switch once, then press and
hold the switch to the CLOSE/UP side
again for approximately 10 seconds until
the sunroof moves automatically.
4. The sunroof will automatically open and
then close all the way.
If you failed at procedure 3. repeat all the
procedures from No. 1.

I don't even know if you are on the forum anymore but Thank you my sun roof wouldn't close it would go to the up position when I tried closing. It would only open part way when opening this solved the issue after reading 4 pages of threads on sunroof issues

Worked great!!

Dunno how often this happens but I hope this thread will stay alive and that others will find it before they waste a lot of money at a shop.
My auto close quit and I was a little nervous.
Great help!
Thanks!
