GI: G35x Aluminum Undertray
My stock one is in decent shape considering I have bottomed out, run off the road and scrape it on the ground, clobbered ice chunks, made sure animals were really dead, etc. I have one tab that is starting to rip a little. I think the metal one is nice looking and I like that its made to hug the underside a bit more... but like others have said.. a little too pricey. I'm done modding.
Thanks for creating stuff like this for people though. It's nice to have these types of options.

I accept with information:It is a 2 piece design so that if you do happen to hit something you can replace part of it instead of needing to replace the whole thing. The stock plastic ones eventually get brittle and lose their mounting tabs and or crack and fall off. The aluminum undertray will not do so.

Price has come down some and it's a very high quality part. Well worth the money!

**Update**
The finished product is done and on my car. The install was straight forward and very simple, the oil change door is AWESOME. It saves so much time when changing the oil, no more taking off the whole plastic undertray.
Check this thread for lots of pics. https://g35driver.com/forums/media-s...ml#post5028539

Amy/sprdrcr, since you are already making stuff for the X, would you consider also making the small undertray below the transfer case, right behind this front one? It should be a lot easier to make, in comparison. Mine got really torn up so i removed it.
Thanks!

It was a thought b.c of how crappy the stock one is. I will ask Joe, the only problem is that since our last test fitting I have moved 8 hours away so he would have to find someone else with a X to do the testing.
I can send you mine.....it is in good condition, the holes are just ripped out. Should be enough to be able to machine a steel one with the same dimensions and holes in the same place...dont know if a test fit would even be required as long as the dimensions are all identical...
i feel like it would just be a much simpler project than the bigger one in front...Let me know what you think.
