How to turn off airbag light and e-brake light in gauge cluster

They are warning lights...so to turn them off, you should FIX the problem.
The BRAKE light is also a low fluid sensor, so check your brake fluid level first. If it's low, inspect for leaks first, then check pad level. If fine, then you can add a little fluid.
As for airbag light, search on the airbag light reset procedure. It will show how to turn it off, but if there is a prob, it will come back. Keep in mind, with the airbag light on, your airbags will not work in a crash.

There is a way to read the codes with an airbag light. Basically it's a sort of check engine light. With early airbag cars, you coud actually ground the test port and the light would blink the code to you. Modern cars aren't that way anymore unfortunately. I just don't know how to read the code. Prob need some sort of scan tool.
What event caused it to be salvaged? Might give hint as to what the problem is.

Well, here is the Airbag light reset procedure.
2 methods
And i think this is easier
Keep in mind, this will only reset the light, similar to clearing the engine codes. If there is an issue with the airbag system, the light will come back.
As for what can read the codes...i'm pretty sure you need a profession scan-tool with manufacturer specific software to read them with OBD-II. With OBD-I, a shade-tree mechanic could do it himseld with a jumper wire.
As for your brake light. Check your fluid level. If it's low, see if your pads are worn. Usually as the pistons extend, the caliper fills with fluid and drains the reseviour and triggers the light. DOn't add fluid, because when you finally do brakes and push the pistons into the calipers, you'll overflow the MC reseviour and spray brake fluid all over your painted engine bay. Brake fluid eats paint.

Ignition Key Method:
1) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car)
2) After the AIR BAG warning lamp lights for 7 seconds, turn IGNITION off within 1 second.
3) Wait 4 seconds
4) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car)

To reset the light simply turn the iginition to the on position, (you dont need to start it). All the lights should stay on for thier diagnostic check. As soon as the airbag light goes off, before it starts flashing, immeditatly turn the car off. Repeat this 3 or 4 times (turning to on then off) and the light should go away
Keep in mind, this will only reset the light, similar to clearing the engine codes. If there is an issue with the airbag system, the light will come back.

List of stuff this can do vs generic OBDII scanners. More like a Cipher:
Our enhanced Nissan interface supports code retrieval/resetting, sensors, and actuations from the engine, BCM, transmission, ABS, airbags, 4WD systems, and CAN systems. Coverage includes the Work Support configuration commands such as Target Idle Ignition Adjustment; with it you can permanently advance your ignition timing to gain few extra HP. Trouble code retrieval includes the NATS 5.0 system and the detailed status byte support. Finally, we seamless integrate CAN and non-CAN systems so that you won't have to worry about switching hardware to retrieve all the troubles codes from each module.
System Tests:
Self-Diagnostic (Airbag)
ECU Part Number (Airbag)
Diagnostics Record (Airbag)
Reset ECU (Powertrain)
Work Support/Configuration Functions (Some 01+ and Most '03+)
Target Idle Ignition Adjustment
Target Idle RPM Adjustment
Idle Air Volume Learn
Self-Learning Control

here in CA, to register a rebuilt car, you need Highway Patrol certification that brakes and airbags are in working order. having an airbag light or teh brake light on would automatically fail the inspection thus you cannot register the vehicle.
IMO, this is not a small issue. If the reset doesn't work, you may need to replace the sensors. You also need to make sure the airbags are actually there. Your brakes and airbags will save your life........you best get it checked out by a professional.
