Thumbs up Fixing Project on my 2005 G35 Sedan

Well needless to say i got in an accident so now my front end has some minor cosmetic damage but i want to fix it. So i thought i would make a project out of it. I would really like some input, I really like the grill with no logo on it. But please take into account I have little knowledge about fixing cars all i know how to do is put in a jwtpopcharger. Like i said i would really appreciate your guys input i will post pics when i get a chance so you guys can see the damage.

Pics?

If you have the stock front end it's poly and should not be repaired with fiberglass, you will need a poly repair kit. It's a lot of work. Trust me, I just re-worked my front bumper to fit the intercooler.

Oh, those pics didn't load the first time.

Looks pretty rough, I'm not sure I would attempt that myself.

I don't think it's that bad at all. Get the frame checked first before you do any work to it, or your just wasting money. If the frame is still straight then go ahead and purchase a new hood, bumper and grill from the marketplace. Maybe the forum can back me up when I say these are all bolt on pieces? Start with the hood! Forget your grill man!

i dont think the frame is messed up since it wasnt that bad of a collision. though i got a estimate to fix it from my dealer said it would cost roughly about $1400 for factory parts. I dont know if its better just to get a new hood that would look nice or just get the factory hood and get a good grill because i dont like the logo in the front and i want the grill to be smaller.

You can do an emblemless grille, CASKYLINE makes them or you can DIY. I can't see the pics at work but will check back later. You are going to spend a decent amount of money just in materials to repair stuff compared to a Kurookie or oem bumper which is done and just needs paint.

Do yourself a favor and get new hood hinges. They are prob ready to fail and now is the time to change them.

If I were in your shoes, with that color car, I would go with the KuRookie bumper. Also, if you're not brave enough to bake your headlights, I wouldn't go with flat black on the grill (or an open grille) I would do a finish like Marcus (CandlestickPark) has on his.

Have you read the emblem delete DIY yet?
