JWT PoP Charger VS Injen CAI
Ok So I currently have the Injen CAI With the Kinetix V Plenum. Now I bought these when I was still new to modding and was new to understanding the way the G is.Now I have Herd alot peeps saying go with MD spacer and a 350z tube.
I was wondering if anyone has changed between these items.I was thinking of running the JWT pop with a 350z tube and a 1/2 iso MD spacer.now before I go and spend the money and try to sell my CAI and V is it worth changing it out.Only thing I can I notice with the CAI is that at WOT it sounds mean.I just don't like the potential for water being sucked into my intake everytime I wash my car.I also actually don't want to feel power loss at top end speeds when I spend 500$ on mods.
Thanks!

I have only owned the Ztube/Jwt pop charger and as for water being sucked up I can say that I have had no such issue. I have driven my G through the car wash many times, heavy rain, sleet, snow, ice and even gone through a couple miles of severely flooded highway with the ztube/pop charger and not a single problem. I know this doesn't answer your question entirely but I hope it helps.

Z-Tube, MD spacer, and Amsoil Drop-in Filter is the best for our cars, IMO. I ran a Stillen CAI and noticed a loss in bottom end response in the warm to summer weather. This is due to the heat soak from the engine.IMO, the factory air box is welldesigned to keep most of the engine heat out.
In long run, its going to be your decision on what you want to do. Just stating my opinion and things I noticed when I modified my car. I currently running a rev-up OEM Airbox and it does sound mean too.

Are you planning on doing any other mods? If not, I would keep it as is... Gains are questionable on all intakes. MD spacers have been getting better reviews but I dont think its worth it to go thru all that work for the possiblity of 1-4 hp. Just switch to stock during wet months and no watersoak to worry about.
