Actually you can appeal any charge against you. That why we are in ****ing USA and not North Korea. Obviously if it says that specifically it means that you can appeal the ticket and it says that hoping to scare you so you just pay it.

 

The ticket was only 40 bucks, like I said I was at a college campus and the officer were probably hall monitors who think they are doing their job when they ticket cars. I'm about to just pay it and get it over with, 40 dollar isn't worth my time to appeal.

It's not a price to pay... it's an advantage. When someone dumb asks you what kind of car it is, make up some outrageous like it's made by a tiny Italian company that used to do design work for BMW, they're extremely rare.

 

People keep telling me something is wrong with my wheel. I'm tired of telling them it's supposed to be like that. I think next time I'll act surprised and thank them for pointing it out....might make them feel like they did something good.

If it is a campus ticket chances are you can get out of it. Where I went to school, they allowed you to refute one ticket. As far as fighting the ticket based on the incorrect make and model, you got nothing. Sorry, but I work with courts all over the country and they can still make you pay that ticket. All you can say is that your car isn’t an Acura. They can ask you if that is your license plate number, if your car was parked there, etc. Unless you lie(and commit perjury(bigger fine than the ticket and possible jail time)), they have you. It really depends on how hard-nose the judge is. Just cause the fool making $8/hour(probably some metermaid and not a cop) doesn’t know an awesome car when he sees one, doesn’t mean you can get out of the ticket. Good luck anyways. I hope they are relaxed were you live, I’ve seen all sorts.
