hmm well if it happened once in the right one, dont you think itll happen again at some point? i just dont want you to have to go through this with the company again once you have the left headlight resolved. you should atleast the seal the right one up when your sealing the new left one. damn dude i feel so bad you had to deal with all this sh*t, such a bummer. hope the rest goes smoothly

we're gonna install the new one in room temperature inside my garage. we're gonna seal it up with black sillicone, and i'll see if we can put some sillicone in the otherone too while the bumper is off

^ I wondered how long it would take you to notice. I must have bumped 30 threads in the OT board... only problem is now my email notifications are off the chart. Today came home to 65 new emails

I would have passed you already, but between loosing posts to deleted threads (which in good taste shall go unnamed) and Tim deleting posts... for some odd reason https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...ad-24.html#360

Poor Tim, we make his life difficult

Only 75%? Man, I thought it was more than that! I got to go hang out with the NorCal peeps some more

Did you seal the new left one around the outside like Chris said?

Yeah... this thread doesn't look like a post battle at all!

I misunderstood. I thought you were saying the new one fogged up.

I would probably get the same problem with the new ones. I think the bottom of the headlight may not be sealed properly, when I get the left one replaced im gonna seal it up with silicone and the left one too.

^ Silicone would probably be ok, but you may want to consider something else. Silicone releases a weak acid as it cures that could theoretically cause a problem. It very well may not cause a problem, but I'm sure after what you've been through with the lights, you would probably rather be safe than sorry.
