I cleaned mine a while ago and got them blacked out and fitted with an expensive but very nice HALO kit from Advanced Automotive Concepts in New Orleans (great guys), with upgraded ballasts. The inside was sanded and painted with semi-gloss black paint, the HID light shell I left reflective of course along with the amber turn signal. Pic below. (car listed forsale, might be going the part out route but not sure yet).
