Sweet, well I guess I will get a set too and update you guys. Any recommendations on projectors? Something not too expensive as this will be my first retrofit, I don't want to break a pair of 500$ projectors.

Did the swap on mine this weekend, was pretty easy to do. Just remove all the bulbs and the ballasts, bake the lights open, loosen the two adjusting screws all the way (make a note of where they are adjusted to to get you back in the ballpark), pop the ball joint loose (just stick a screw driver in and pop it out) and the reflector assembly comes out. Only mod I had to do was to drill out the hole where the HID wires go into the light with a 3/4" wood bit(see pic). All the mounting holes matched up only difference was a little stub where the relay mounts inside that could be removed, I left em in and the relays are a little crooked but not really an issue. I am very happy with the result. Forgot to add that I needed to change out the ball joints, the ones on the ebay lights were bigger diameter, threads were the same though so it was a direct fit.

No, sorry, I was planning on taking more pix but had to hurry and get the car back together. Really not too much to it. There are a few good DIY's on here for taking the headlights out and baking them, then just the few steps I mentioned above. Oh and make sure to remove the ballasts before baking the HID's and 250 degrees for 8 mins works pretty well.

nice HwyDrftr, thanks for the info, im sure it will help a bunch of people.. did you use any extra sealant? how about for the hole you drilled? was it air/water tight? hearing you say you did it succesfully makes me want to do it, but im a still a little nervous cuz i havent done anything like this before and dont want to ruin both pairs of headlight and then have nothing... well see wat i end up doing. thanks again

I didn't add any sealant, I did try to push it back in place while it was still hot, time will tell how well it sealed, looked pretty good though. For the hole I drilled, the HID lights have the hole and there is a grommet on the wiring harness that fits in there, should be as good as stock. Really is not too bad just be kinda gentle when prying the lens off, not really too easy to mess it up but if anything could go wrong I guess that's the step.

Just start with one light, you'll see what your in for and only lose one if you mess up, heh.

Ah that sucks dude. Sorry to hear it. He should make it right, I've never seen those sold individually before, always in a pair. You checked the original ad very carefully right?

Yea I did, it says comes with both headlights, left and right and the picture shows the pair. And the auction says that the turn signals are clear when in fact they're smoked amber but that's fine, no biggy, they better send me the driver's side headlight tho, I sent them a message let's see what they say

update, the second headlight arrived at 7:00pm he shipped them in separate boxes, and i just checked the turn signal lenses and they're in fact clear not smoked, when i looked at them before it was outside when it was getting dark out. Now i can wait to put this bad boys on they're so cleaan, they make my stock headlights look like they're from a 1980 oldsmobile. If any1 wants to buy my stock headlights for the bezels only for really cheap let me know. The bezels are profesionally painted flat black, the turn signal bezel is painted gunmetal and the turn signal lenses are smoked. So all you'd have to do is open them up and swap the bezels

^yea my lenses are in bad shape lol and i was looking for a richer black. I have flat black now, the ones on ebay are satin black. I love the new ones. I hope they stay crystal clear the way they are and don't fog up or anything, i'm gonna wax em everytime i wax the car
