I put 3000K Halogen bulbs in my fog lights. I did that to retain the high beam function. Dark woods plus 3000K high beams = can see the deer you are about to run over.
My fog lights stay off 99% of the time anyway. Personally, the contrast of yellow + the white HID doesn't look that appealing to me in a combined headlight assembly. Now if the fog lights were low in the bumper like a Lexus, then i would like it.
SO i turn my fogs on ONLY in the rain and snow and fog. 3000K makes a HUGE difference.

I have been considering doing HID fogs which I will probably do when I do projector retro, but I have city lights in my 03 so I just change that to an LED and it matches my HIDs.
