True, red35 and I pulled the bumper (mostly) off mine and removed the headlights to do the top lights (6000k Philips Ultinons), then later I did the bottom ones (6000k PIAAs) by pulling back the fender liner. Wasn't bad once I'd seen how they come out/go in, I had a better idea how to do it by feel. I really like the way both sets look and perform.

Yea I did it blind and it was a serious bitch! I didn't understand how the metal clamps clipped up to the top and wouldn't fit in enough to get a good look. Next time I do it, I will definitely take the bumper off.

Primarily the video but visibilty did decrease. I'll see if I can upload with vimeo when I get home and see if that makes a difference. Ive noticed sometimes youtube has issues with quality. Also may be the video itself, i'll double check that.

Ive got the hyper yellow ultinon (sp?) ones in my fogs... looks pretty good at night with the contrast against my 8000k hids, but kinda crappy with our DRLs.. Its a low voltage high beam DRL on our car and it just kinda looks like a dirty headlight during the day IMO. Was actually able to install this without removing the bumper, I removed the inner fender liner and managed to squeeze up there with my hand. I had painted my bezels while back so I remembered what everything looked like back there, although my hand was scratched to **** after i was done. hehe

I'v got 6ks in mine with 3k fogs and i really like this combo. I didn't lose as much and with the 3ks it looks really sharp.

I got my bulbs off ddmtuning.com.

I wouldn't do 8k, but im not a fan of super blue as its what all my friends with Civics buy..

I have mtec 6000k low beams, and my fogs/high beams I have 6000k, they work great with high beams on, I drive through a canyon every night in the dark with no cars, I can see deer eyes on the mountain, this is making me wanna go to 3000k to see the difference...

Could you send me a pic... i was initially gonna go with 6K, but i thought it would be too close to the stock 4300s..
