Yes bumper needs to come off to remove headlights, but you don't need to remove the headlights to change the bulb. You can access the rear of the headlight through your fender wall, there's a DIY somewhere. But keep in mind, it's a tight frustrating fit.

Factory

8k HID's (swapped bulb) and 3k HID fogs (complete HID kit)

Unfortunately I don't have evening pics. I'll see if I can take some today. There was a HUGE difference in output from the factory fogs to the HID 3k's. I'm probably going to sell my 3k bulbs down the line though and swap them for 6 or 8k's and relocate the fog lights into the bumper. Gonna mold them and run dual projectors in each vent.

Overpower in what way? The fogs are aimed much more downward so it won't affect the low beams. Or do you mean overpowering in another way?

Yellow (2500K) fogs are great on my Frontier for rain and bad weather. On the G, if I go with yellow fogs, that also means my high beams will be yellow. I've never had yellow high beams - how do they perform?

Ah I see. The fogs point down lower than the low beams so i don't think it would be an issue.

Thanks for that! I was wondering about the transition your eyes make from white HID lows to yellow halogen highs, which is a lot more of a difference than the stock halogens. I think I'll give them a try this winter.

Not really weird, they use dual filament bulbs.
