Tilt Lock

I seem to be having an issue again with the lock for my tilt wheel, they did something to it once already, it sometimes doesn't stay locked, slides down a little, sometimes too far and the wheel comes down. Anyone else have an issue with this?

Re: Tilt Lock

No problems for me. Perhaps it is just a nut / bolt adjustment issue? If you don't want to fiddle with it yourself, I would definately recommend seeing the dealer for it. I would think that it would be potentially hazardous to have the steering wheel drop out of position all of a sudden while driving.

Re: Tilt Lock

The last time I took it in, they said they "adjusted a cam", it was tighter, but also didn't go all the way up, maybe it's just my car doing it, I hope so, that would be good, I will bring it up again on my next visit to the dealer! I drive with the wheel all the way down, so that shouldn't hurt that anyway. This tilt handle is one thing I don't like about the G though, so far anyway, LOL!
