Hey guys, I tried posting this in the Audio/Visual section but didnt get much help. It seems the pre-wired SAT cable in the trunk for 03/04's is behind the rear seat lower down, but the 2005-2006's MUST be in a different location. Ive ripped apart every panel in my trunk to find this damn white connector and I can't seem to find it anywhere. I've searched the forums for the location... but all that comes up are for the 03-04's. PLEASE HELP!!!

You have to remove the cover (plastic cloth covered piece) attached to the rear seat, accessed through the trunk. That is where mine was at (05 sedan).

 

Really... was it on the right or left side?

right side. I kinda assumed you had done this in my PM. The inner trunk liner must be completely removed against the rear seat.

03-05 is the same...06 has the cable moved to the underside of the rear shelf.

You won't find it, 'cause it's not there. Canadian cars were not pre-wired (at least up to 05/06) even though they had the same SAT ready head unit as the US cars.

 

That would explain it. Good to know for us Canadian Guys.

kinda new to this and I apologize If Im thread jacking, but my g35 sedan (04) has the bose and 6cd with sat button...what do I need to buy if I already have an xm subscription?

I know I should have searched but I couldnt find anything exactly what I was looking for on this before.

I did see that..just saw the OP mention an ipod hookup and wondered what I didnt know I already had?
