I live in Palm Springs, don't get too many rich guys wanting to drag in their Bentleys, but when I travel around in SoCal seems like everyone thinks they are the stars of Fast and the Furious no matter what they drive.

I live on the east coast of Canada. The city that I live in has to be the Sunfire captial of the world!! Every second car you see is a crappy Sunfire. And the things that some of these young guys do to these Sunfires.....OMG what a laugh!!! I stare in amazement how ridiculous they look. But they think they have the coolest car on the road.

 

tonight i had a riced up ford focus with one of those mosquito fogger tailpipes want to drag me from a stop light. he revved it up and popped the clutch as i ignored him completely. tried at the next light with the same result. not even worth attracting attention to blow his doors off.

Actually, here in South Florida, it's just the opposite. I have had two people, ironically, both with Golf VR6's or the regular golf's want to race (maybe it was the same guy). Other than that, the people who try to pick a race are the people that have cars in the same car segment (near luxury/performance) like IS300's, Audi A4/A6, ton of Mercedes and Bimmer's, some lexus (SC430, LS430's), etc... Not too many ricer kids trying to race me or people with real kick-*** cars like Vette Z06's. Even though the kick-*** cars are the ones I want to race especially with the nitrous. So its usually the cars I mentioned above, Bimmer's, Mercedes, Lexus, and 350z. Most of the time I win without nitrous and then when it looks like someone might start walking away from me, I give em the spray or if I start to beat them a little, I give em the spray to make a point.

I tried getting adding a sticker to the side of my car (small Injen sticker.......please hold the laughter to yourselves) to try to get people to want to race, but they just see some business guy in a g sedan. Doesn't strike people as the type to race, I guess.

not to many ppl really try to race me either. if a car that i know is not a match tries, i just roll as slow as possible. pisses them off + you get the pimp factor.

lol, im sorry guys. much respect to all g35's, i just had to say it. i almost bought a IP sedan before i saw my tb coupe.

i have driven my friends sedan a few time i drive the sedan, i kinda wish i had 4 doors too. esp when hommies are rolling

I live in phoenix and never have had a single challenge, other then my lil' sis in her Carrera 4s. I spanked her because she cant shift for sh*t. Pissed her off and then she questioned why the hell she spent close to 3X as much on her car as I did on mine.

1. im suprised taht in az, no one has tried to race you. im not doubting the facts, its just in az, everyone seems to want to race.

2. you sis paid 3x more for her car cause it has 1.5x more potential + she lookes 4x more pimp in the carerra 4!

haha, porshes are very nice cars...well except fot the plain boxster anyway!

It might have to do with the fact that I'm usually only in it during rush hour times...but even when I'm just running errands...no challenges.

My sisters Carrera is nice, but she has things going wrong with it on a very regular basis, everything from electrical, brakes seat contols, and several stereo/cd probs. She is thinking about trading it in for a SL 500 soon. Cant wait to live vicariously through her....

haha sux...sometimes i take my car out on sat just to drive! this is crazy to me cause before i would hate to drive. i have had some nice cars, some crappy ones, but still hated driving in general.

on the sl500 tip, god those cars are nice! i love me them sl's. you need to convince here that she needs an sl55 tho! your sis seems to have the hook up. is she single? haha j/k.
