Yes, you have a Mrev2 (kinda) factory installed on your car ...... your stock lower manifold is the same as the Mrev2 manifold, except the Mrev2 has been polished and stuff for better air flow .....
Just like 'High_Boost' said, we with the 'RevUp' engines (2005-2006 6MT G35's only) have the crappy lower manifold. In order for us to get benefits from Plenum Spacers we need to change our lower manifold as well, either to Mrev2 or non-RevUp OEM manifold.

and I have no idea what those 'markings' mean, I'm guessing its 'versions' or something

I just installed my 'self-made' Mrev2 ........ I'm very happy with the results, they are more than I expected ....
Now I'm thinking of putting a "Motordyne 5/16" spacer, but for a little bit more money I can buy the "Kinetix Racing V+" intake plenum ...... I did research and found that:
1. Motordyne spacer = 10-14hp
2. Kinetix Racing V+ plenum = 14rwhp

Has anyone had any experience with the two, separate or together?

btw, this is on for 'RevUp' motor ( 2005 G35 6MT Sedan )

Check out Motordyne's website, they had a plenum shoot-out in which they out performed almost every plenum setup back then. IIRC, the only one that beat them was the Cosworth, not sure on that. The spacer gives a more consistent power curve, where as the V+ gives better peak. Do some research on the subject and you will most likely buy the Motordyne spacer.

thank you so much for the pics..what I see is that on Mrev2 the entry area is smaller and the top of casting possibly indicated that the port has a small diameter and LONGER passage which will enhance velocity....as a worker, racer of small block Chev and big block ford it is necessary to be careful as sometime too much is just that too much....smaller rough passages depending on cubic insize of motor can most times create enough velocity to keep the fuel droplets small and atomized when it hits the heat of the passage itself. On motors that that run cool and have large intake passages the fuel will not stay atomized and the droplets will fall to the floor of the passage puddling up and causing eratic power at low speeds...on a small motor that we are dealing with sometimes a very small change big or little can be disasteres.
the fact that you noticed power above 4500 tells me that the engine is breathing better with the enhanced velocity...I will have to check to see if they fit an 03 or if there is something out there as aftermarket that will work...my car runs extremely well for only 214 cubic inches with tremendous torgue for the size of it..

Hi Guys,

Here is an independent test of the MREV2 on a non-revup engine where the stock and MREV2 are compared.
