Weird Clunking Noise from Driver's Side Wheel when turning Left Only
There is this weird clunking noise coming from the driver's side tire when I turn left only, regardless of speed. Of course the noise is more constant as the speed increases. There is no vibration in the steering wheel when the noise arise. I have searched online and it might be the CV joint. The only recent mods I did was changing out my rims for my winter rims since New England got some snow. Any suggestions? TIA!!!
Ok I found out what the problem was...lug nuts were loose.
I have removed my wheels countless times and this is the first occasion where the lug nuts loosened on me. I even used a torque wrench @ 80ft lbs. I'm not sure why or how they became loose but now I'm going to check 'em every week. For future reference, if your tires make a click or clunking noise...check the nuts...lugs nuts first.

Thank you for the suggestion, I just wonder how the lug nuts loosed so much. They were barely on and I could spin them a couple of times before completely falling off.
you just overlooked tighten one wheel. maybe that was your last wheel and you got distracted or you thought that last wheel was the first wheel you tighten. a lot of things could of happened.
I've done it myself. this is now why i LEAST tighten 3 by hand alll the way before leaving to do something or not put any lugs on.
