Afghanistan blows

Yes I am deployed in Afghanistan. I have been here for two months now and 10 more to go. I can tell you I dont forging see any reason to be fighting over this place, THERE IS NOTHING HERE! I understand the obvious polital reasons, but really WTF?

I am in the southern area of Afghanistan and our FOB is in the middle of no where. Now inside the FOB I was surprised to find so much more than I expected. First off only a few areas have wifi, yup WIFI. There are some other places of interest but very few at that.

So the vehicles employed here has got me thinking. Other than Military vehicles there are a butt load of Toyota's here! Anything from busses to trucks and SUVs. One would almost think that the Government has a contract with Toyota. So instead the of the luxurious G35 or Audi I have at home here the luxury vehicles are GM SUV products. I have even seen a NISSAN TITAN, YES A NISSAN TITAN FITTED WITH .50 CALIBER MACHINE GUN! Now that was badass to say the least. Sorry I wasnt allowed to take a pic! DARN! Imagine a blacked out growling Titan, lifted, uparmored, huge offroad tires, and a giant machine gun in the back! Did I mention the gun ports in the windows? Yeah.............

So I am in the market now to purchase a touchscreen headunit to replace the tired stock radio in my G35. If anyone is selling one please hit me up I have some EXTRA cash to spend. I am also looking for some headrest screens. Of course my wifey will take the G to a shop and have them install it all for me.

Any other ideas for my G35 will be highly considered. Well I hope I did not bore you all.

For those of you who dont know me heres a pic of my G35 just before I deployed
(sorry for the quality, took the pic with my cell phone)

Thanks for the help! But it seems like the headunit is not a double din but the screen that rolls out is a double din size. Am I correct on that? Maybe I misunderstood the features.

So I found some center consoles for the Nissan Skyline with a double din and the climate control panel on Ebay. My sexy wife will be taking care of the rest. Well at least this is part of step one.

Not sure when you've last seen it....I sold my 19's and went with some 20's and made it "look" like I was lowered more. I just put the stance lower on the tires but overall, I'm a bit taller than I was before. I still want to run a lower profile tire (next set) and will dial it in again, for the 30th time lol
