I've searched, couldn't find any info.
It's the gear that is used to move the seat forward and backward.
Has anyone replace one? Any pointers?
TIA,
Matt

there isn't one. You gotta buy the entire motor/track.
If somone has a half-decent worn out one they want to give me, i can maybe put together a drawing so a machninst can make one. Prob is they are prob all chewed up to the point where i can't get accurate measurements.

^ If I take mine off, is there a good way to lock the seat in place, or will it just freely slide?

Just turn off the seat memory on the side of your seat. Put the seat where you want it to stay, turn off the seat memory function, and then remove the gear.
This is a very worthwhile effort.

I'd rather not tie up anyone's good gear if i can.
How difficult is it to remove the gear? I could prob take mine out if not too hard. But that's kinda why i wanted a bag gear because it may take me 1-2 weeks to get around to it.

You might be able to make the machinist some $$$ if a batch is made and you sell them here and on ebay.
