HELP*Stillen rear lip

I wanna buy the stillen rear lip but i have a 06 sedan. I asked around to see if it would fit, some said it will fit but you have to work on it alittle to make it fit right and others said to buy the 03- 04 rear bumper and swap it. but i dont wanna swap the bumper cause its money and i think its a waste of time. does anyone know what do i have to work on to make it fit flush. btw is there are 05 -06 who have done this?

i think some ppl have made the nismo fit on the 05-06 bumper, i'm not sure what modifications had to be done, i assume the stillen would be the same way. try to find an 03 local with your same car color that's willing to swap bumpers with you although it may be hard to find some1

you would need a 03-04 style oem bumper or need some modifications by a body shop if you want the lip to fit your 05-06 rear bumper.

I am planning on doing an 03-04 bumper swap so I can run a rear lip. I already have my lip, mudguards and 03-04 bumper, hope to install and paint it sooon.

Most eBay 03-04 bumpers will run you around $220-$250 shipped. You can have the body shop cut a hole for the trunk popping button. The bumper is a direct swap and will bolt right onto an 05-06 rear but it won't line up 100% correct with the "mudguard" (not to be confused with the splash guard).

Here is a pic of an 03-04 Sedan with a 05-06 Bumper on, see how it doesn't line up where the bumper meets the mudguard. For our cars (05-06) it will be the reverse, the mudguard will stick out further than the bumper.

You can fix this either by purchasing a set of mudguards for the 03-04 (about $140 from Riverside Infiniti) or have your body shop mod your bumper or mudguard to make it fit. When Alex (heyitzalex) got his 03-04 bumper on his 06 Sedan he had R&J "make it fit" without purchasing a mudguard (see below pics).

OP, you might be able to find somebody with an 03 to trade parts with you. If they don't have the areo package, the 05 is a nice step up. That's what I did.
Be aware though, if you go from an 05 back to an 03, you won't have a button on the back to pop your trunk unless you have one cut in.

If possible, do a test fit so you get a better idea. Cutting the trunk release button hole on 03/04 bumper doesn't seem too difficult though.

Glad you finally got the bumper! You're gonna be the 1st 05/06 with KuRookie front + 03/04 Nismo rear lip! Can't wait to see it!

If I can get some pics of a test fit I'll definitely share them with everyone.

I'm excited about the bumper swap too. I'll be only the 2nd one to do it (I think) and the only LS Sedan with a Nismo rear lip.
