Projector retrofit

Hey guys not sure if this is right section for this so mods feel free to move. I am in the process of finishing up my headlight projector retrofit on my 04 sedan and have a problem. Im using S2000 projectors and fx35 bixenons with tsx lenses. I am wanting to put the s2000 projector where lows are and keep the same configuration. So the s2000 will be in the low location and the bixenon in the fog/hi location and act as that. My problem is that when the hi is on the power to the fog light goes off. Is there a way i can make the fogs stay on when the hi is on. I know on some cars there is a relay that shuts off the fogs. Is there one on our sedans?

I will take pics when i get a chance. Its fairly simple design for now. I pmed ttank awhile back. He has a different configuration. He is using his bixenon as his hi/low and s2000 as a fog. That will work i just want to use my s2000 as my low and my bixenon as my fog/hi because the bixenon fits in the lower location better.

^It was really easy on my Trans-Am. Cut one wire under the fuse/relay box and ground it. I have no idea on the G though. Probably about the same thing. I'll take a look in the FSM and see if I can figure it out. What year is it?

On the G it goes through a bus wire to the BCM. In order to have both on it will require more work.

Option 1 is to add a relay and have them both on all the time.
Option 2 would be to add a separate switch and relay to turn the 2sk on.

I guess the easiest thing would be to get 2 relays one for each headlight run the power like ttank said and have the power of the headlight to both projectors and the power of the hi to act as the swith on solenoid of bixenon. The fog switch will be not be used then. The relay will act as the switch for the fog but will come on when the headlights being used and the power will come from battery?

How much has the retrofit cost you? I'm curious about doing it. How easy is it to find the projectors from the other vehicles?

The s2000 projectors are the hardest and most expensive to find. I happen to have a friend by a used s2000 so i bought both healights from him and sold the ballast on ebay since they are huge. The bixenons are fairly easy to find. Retrofitsouce has some fxr bixenons that are suppose to be good and made for retrofits. I probably have about 300 in my headlights so far. I payed 140 for my fx35 projectors, 200 for s2000 - 80 for ballast i sold on ebay, 60 for aftermarket hid kit for fogs plus another 60 for shrouds so maybe round 350. will probably have about 400 in them total with paint and everything

^Where did you pick up the aftermarket hid kit for 60? I'll need one whenever I do my retrofit.
