Yes. VDC off on your launch at the track. I usually two-foot it mashing the brake and revving up to around 2K RPM.
On the last yellow light, release the brake and floor it. usually results in the best 60-foot times.
Didn't really notice much of a difference between leaving it in auto, and shifting it manually.
