Joined the G35 Family on 01/16/2010 =D ::: Have view qustions.

I just got my first very own car (just turned 21) and a g35 2003 60k miles, at that. No more asking my parents for keys to their car =p

The car drivers well and I'm very happy with the car!!! =D =D =D

I do have a couple of questions though...
1.When I turn the ignition I see a lot if not all of the hazard/sensor lights on. When I turn on the car all of them go away. Is that normal? Should the hazard/sensor lights go off after a minute or 2 of having the electricity on?
2.What kind of oil should I be using for the engine? I did not buy the extended warranty from Infiniti yet, because I still have a 1 month warranty from the dealer.
3.Will putting my choice of oil or the oil by myself void the warranty from infinity? Can I change the oil at a non-Infiniti repair shop?
4. The person that had the car had a single-din radio installed. Can I install any single-din radio and have the buttons from the steering wheel work? I think i might buy the Dual XDMR7710 , but i'm open to any suggestions.

Also, if you drive a G and you live around Brooklyn/Greenpoint NY and want to talk cars, I'm up for that. I'm a noob when it comes to cars, so any help would be nice.

If you can help me with car issues I can help you with computer issues. Computer repair, programming, web development.

Thanks,

Yes, all cars do this. WHen you turn the key to on, every light in the dash should light up to show if the bulb/led is burned out. After a few mins, some may go out. The rest go out when the engine starts after various time periods. 3-5 seconds after engine start, all should be out.

5w-30

Conventional vs Synthetic is a debate which I won't start. Basically just use a quality oil...and not "Joe Blow's recycled oil" and keep up with regular changes.

3.Will putting my choice of oil or the oil by myself void the warranty from infinity? Can I change the oil at a non-Infiniti repair shop?
No, but keep all receipts from any work you do outside of the dealer, and document date and mileage service done.

I think the Metra can hold single or double din. +1 on something besides dual.
As far as your wheel controls go:

Wow, long day at work. =/

To answer some questions.
Why I'm getting the Dual Stereo System?
I'm not. LOL I decided to buy the PIONEER DEH-P4100UB. It's coming in tomorrow, so I will have much more questions for the future. =p

The Programming languages I write in. Hmm...
I write in C++ at school. At work I write in Java, Java/JSP { EL, JSTL }, Javascript {Jquery, EXTJS}, SQL, some Ruby on Rails, I might have to learn C# in the near future. At home I write php, now trying to learn PHP with Cake, but I might switch to a different framework.

Will I check out G35NYC?
Sure. As soon as I get more time. Tomorrow =D

G35 Pics?
No problem. As soon as I install the radio that will come in tomorrow I'm taking pictutres!!!

No work tomorrow =D SO I WILL then then again

Cool. I kinda got my start in C++ but I don't use it much anymore. I got into web design so now it's all HTML, JavaScript, PHP and SQL. Personally, I refuse to learn C# for two reasons, Micro$oft and .... no I guess there's not a 2nd reason
I'm going to start learning Java soon though. There are several places locally that are looking to hire Java programmers.
