There are a massive amount of variables. Condition for starters...

Your best bet is to look at classifieds and see what similar cars are going for used.

Way to many variables on this one considering it's a 14-year old car and you haven't told us mileage or condition or features of both.

like Keith says, check your local listings. see what vehicles like yours retail for, then check what suitable 240's go for. the delta between the two is roughly what to expect.

mine has 64,000km and the 240sx guy says 220,000km on the chassis. 42,000km on the S14 Sr20det brought in from Dubhai from an elite engine supplier.

Personally i wouldn't do the trade unless you have a 2nd car to drive around. In my opinion you are trading in a nice daily driver for a project car.

Depending on what other mods the 240 has, including rim, body kits, etc most 240 with the SR20 engine usually sell for over 10k. The 240 is definitely holding its value right now because of demand.

We sold my wifes 95 240 for 2800 four years ago. It was a fun car. Probably could have sold it for over 4k today if we had held on to it.

Do NOT do it. I will guarantee the engine swap documents have been forged. Cars that get imported like that always have weird **** going on. 220 on the body is high man, you'd be nuts to trade a fairly low km G for something more than old.

I say buy a cheap 240 and build it then keep both.

I wouldn't say absolutely don't do it, but do take a very very close look at the swap, test drive and beat the crap out of it, because you will likely be doing that anyway. And get a second opinion from someone who doesn't have a biased view.
