Non HID headlight replacement ?

Can anyone tell me how to change the headlight bulbs on non HID 03 G35, just regular halogen bulbs ?

I searched but found none, only about HID's.

Also they are H1 if I am correct ?

Thanks

Changing the BULBS is very simple. Here are general instructions. There is a thread with the bulb specs on this forum, just make sure its a halogen. Better yet, take the broken bulb out and bring it to the store during the day. Here you go.

1. Turn your wheel outwards so you have move clearance to work with.
2. Remove the plastic plugs on the plastic splash shield and pry it open so you have access to the back of the headlamp.
3. Unscrew the cover on the bulb you are replacing.
4. Remove and replace the bulb.
5. Reassemble the back cover, the plastic splash shield, and the plastic plugs.

There is a thread somewhere on here about removing the bumper and headlights to do this... It's a rather easy procedure really.

Basically:
-Turn the wheels so you can pop of the tabs holding the fender liner to the bumper
-Pop the plastic tabs under the hood holding the bumper on above the radiator
-Remove the plastic underneath the car
-Bumper SHOULD come right off.
-Headlights have a few bolts now exposed

VOILA!

please tell me if i'm forgetting something fellas

Ha. posted at the same time. FTL

I preferred to remove the entire bumper... it really didn't take long :-/ It gave me good access to the lights to clean them anyway.

Where is the plastic rivets suppose to be on the front wheel. Let's say you are looking straight at it, are your rivets at the very top of your wheel. That's where mine is.

They are along the edge of the plastic shield. Where the body meets the plastic. There are a lot of them. Pull enough out so that you could pry it open and open the back of the headlight cover. The cover comes off by twisting counter clockwise like a bottle cap.

Not necessarily. This post below illustrates an easier way.

This is also way easier if you take off the wheels, especially if you're dropped.
