^^ double-clutching into 1st? i suppose that's useful if we're rallying or short-course tracking, but not on a daily drive.

It's about the only way you're going to get the tranny to welcome a shift into 1st at any speed above 5mph. My 5MT Maxima and 90CRX Si were the same way with their tight gear boxes. I never really had a need to do it, but if I wanted get into 1st at a decent roll without fighting the syncros, it was the only way.
