Coupe Mid Pipe Worth it on 05/06 Sedan? Mixed Reviews...

Hey guys,

I was pretty much ready to pull the trigger on a coupe mid-pipe but now im seeing if you have an 05/06 its not the same as an 03/04

I cant find any pics or comparisons aimed at the 05/06 so my question is , Is it still a worthwhile mod to swap the 05/06 mid-pipe for a coupe mid-pipe?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I was planning on purchasing one asap along with an HR Y pipe in the near future.

Thanks,

I have HR-Y Pipe and Coupe Midpipe, exhaust got alot deeper sounding with stock muffler, Going to get HKS or Megans Racing muffler in the near future.

If you can find one cheap go for it.

The coupe midpipe is also lighter then the Sedan Midpipe so if your going for weight reduction :O

Here is a pic I just took for you of a 05/06 Sedan midpipe

Yea its worth it I've seen a video of an 05 sedan with stock exhaust and the same sedan with stock exhaust with CM only, you could hear it sounded deeper with the CM

I love my hr-y, coupe and hks muffler combo. Nice, deep and saved about 8-10 pounds.

I would say go for it. People say the difference is not noticable, but I notice it. Its deeper, and a little bit louder, but still maintains an OEM sound

coupe midpipe made it a little louder, but to be honest with you, right after i put it on and drove it off the lift i was very dissappointed, it made the smallest of differences in sound. but i got mine free so i cant complain too much.

Im just looking to get it alittle more like the coupe sound. I know its not a huge perf gain. My friends Z & Altima SE-R sound so nice so if im closer to that sound but still OEM sounding i would be happy.

Anyone have a Coupe Mid for sale

from what alot of the members told me, get it. im pretty stoked because im picking up an intake, coupe middy, hr y-pipe, and a megan racing universal exhaust. so yeah... the coupe middy i found on here for 50 bucks, the hr y pipe i found on craigslist for about 90 bucks, the intake on here, and megan racing im getting from mr.wong from statik. getting it all for under 400 bucks so its a steal.

I thought it was WELL worth it. I agree with above said^^ about it not making much of a difference off the lift... but I feel like after a little time it made quite a bit of difference. I thought it felt much smoother (less restricted)

I've got one for sale. I don't have enough posts to post in the classifieds.. but PM me and I'll sell AND ship you mine for REAL cheap
