No Cobb For Sedans??

I was looking into purchasing a Cobb Access Port for my 05 sedan and I was asking the vendor what stage I should go with and I was told that Cobb says the software doesn't work for the sedans.. Is this true? Is there any other tuners that do work?

Fvck the Cobb, Osiris is the way to go if you're looking for a good tune.

Check here for the closest retailer/installer to you: https://g35driver.com/forums/tuner-d...directory.html

Check post #8 for Florida locations.

It does support the sedans, not sure where the vendor got that Idea from, really osiris tuner and the cobb do the exact same thing, they are able to flash the ECU with the same settings. The tuning software for the cobb only came out last year, until then most people ran the "Stage" tunes which were pretty hit or miss, because of this the cobb got a bit of a bad rep. What I like about the cobb is that it has real time monitoring, you can display several different things like a/f, Fuel Economy, 0-60 etc. It also will let you adjust idle and timing in real time. Another good thing about the cobb is people are selling them cheap because they don't know what they have.

Can someone explain to me why it costs $700 to flash an ECU? You can flash your own motherboard on your PC for free. In fact you can flash anything given there is an application written to recode the hardware. Maybe I'm totally misunderstanding the concept of tuning, but from what I understand things can be flashed and reprogrammed fairly easily. Configurations could also be available online for free along with tuning recommendations for the enthusiast. Someone shed some light on this.

its really no different than say...adding a CAI or a plenum spacer, in terms or risk.

if you know computers as well as you know cars, its easy

just as easy as you can spot a 10mm bolt, some people can spot an open loop hole in programs
